dc.description.abstractThe analyzed self-awareness family initiative is an innovative approach to social transformation. The study was guided by the following objectives that aimed at investigating the psychosocial family transformation approaches, analyzing the initiatives of social transformation and formulating an effective culturally sensitive practice for promoting psychosocial transformation. The study sample size was 217 guided by Documentaries and History Records, Questionnaires and Interviews (In-Depth Key Informant Interviews Semi Structured) guided by the Assessment of Cultural Awareness scale. Findings Based on objectives revealed in table 3., 26.27%; in table 5. n=112 (51 .6%) and in table 6. n=100 (46.1%) as the highest scores respectively. The Study concluded that that every aspect of the family needs to be harmonized with each other within a socially transformative system. The research recommended that therapists and social workers should practice SAFI model as a spring board for understanding and addressing clients’ cultural issues.en_US
