dc.description.abstract | This research presents experimentation of MOODLE course management system for teaching software engineering and process modelling to master’s degree students. The students used MOOLE for online discussions, assignments and for downloading lecture notes for a duration of four months. Thereafter, they evaluated the learning environment with questionnaires. The results indicate that MOODLE is a highly accepted learning management system for teaching and learning in a resource limited country. However, for a learning management system like MOODLE to be effectively implemented in a University setting, it is important for the University management to invest in the initial computer hardware equipment and Internet connectivity infrastructure to overcome technology barriers. | en_US |
